Constructed from the same 600D XTP fabric with PU coating, it shares the full clamshell opening, MOLLE webbing and hydration compatibility of the smaller pack while adding 10 litres of volume and load-transfer capability for longer carry. The extra capacity over the Eagle 1 makes the Eagle 2 better suited to longer day patrols, training exercises and full-day hikes where more kit needs to be carried comfortably. The padded hip belt with zippered admin pockets shifts load off the shoulders during extended wear, while the rapid exterior zip provides fast entry to the main compartment without opening the clamshell - useful when kit needs to be retrieved quickly on the move.
