The Highlander Outdoor Water Filter is a compact pump-action water purification system designed to provide safe drinking water wherever your adventures take you. Ideal for hiking, bushcraft, wild camping, military use, emergency preparedness and expedition travel, this portable filtration system allows you to quickly convert untreated water from natural sources into cleaner, safer drinking water without the need for batteries or electricity. Using a combination of carbon filtration and medical-grade ultrafiltration technology, the Highlander Outdoor Water Filter provides an impressive 0.01-micron filtration accuracy, effectively removing 99.9% of protozoa, bacteria and viruses from untreated water. Whether you're collecting water from rivers, lakes or streams, the advanced filtration system helps provide clean drinking water when you're away from reliable supplies. Unlike straw-style filters, this model features a manual pump-action system with a 1-litre capacity, allowing you to filter water directly into bottles, cooking pots or hydration reservoirs. This makes it ideal for preparing drinking water for yourself or your group, cooking meals at camp or filling larger containers without needing to drink directly from the water source. One filter is capable of purifying up to 1,000 litres of water, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable bottled water. To help maximise the filter's lifespan, Highlander recommends rinsing the filter with clean water after each use. When a replacement is eventually required, Miniwell replacement filter cartridges are available, allowing you to continue using the pump for many future adventures. Compact enough to fit into your rucksack or emergency kit, the Highlander Outdoor Water Filter weighs just 245g and measures 16.5cm x 5cm x 8cm. After use, everything packs neatly into the supplied carry case, keeping the filter clean, protected and ready for your next trip.
