Exfoliation is the basis of a good skin care routine, and one that allows you to smell great all through the day! Seems backwards, right? How can scrubbing the skin help Fragrance stay all day? Well, your skin naturally sheds, and exfoliating helps get rid of loose cells and allows skin to better absorb moisture. This is important if you want to help your fragrance last all day. Applying fragrance to skin that has too many loose cells will just fall off and applying fragrance to dry skin just won't be able to hold the fragrance as long through the day. Your skin sucks up all the moisture it can and the precious ingredients that make up the scent evaporate more quickly. That is why we recommend using natural products in this way. 1) Wash with you natural soap bar or mild body wash :) 2) Exfoliate, using the scrub 1-3xs a week, and using our Glycolic and Salicylic Acid Resurfacing Lotion 1-3xs a week. 3) Moisturize, using heavier body butter or body oil occasionally through the week too, depending on how dry your skin is and the how dry your main environment is. 4) Add fragrance, spritzing on pulse points, the neck below the ear, the inner wrists and all over the body, hair, maybe a spritz to walk though in the front and back of the body.
