The 13 oz burns for about 80+ hours and can be perfect for medium - large living areas (with proper candle care of course). Trim wick 1/4 inch before lighting. FURTHER EXPLAINED To prevent a fire and serious injury, stay away from combustible, drafts, and vibrations. Burn candle within sight. Do not touch or move hot candle, wait until cooled. Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of the candle wax remains. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Too short of a burn time can cause tunneling and too long of a burn time can cause the container to crack or burst. Due to this being a 100% soy candle, after initial burns candle texture may change and there may be some discoloring. This is completely normal, and this will not affect the way the candle performs.
