A thornless creeping Rubus species from the Himalayas, growing only 20cm high. Evergreen in mild winters, otherwise deciduous, though only hardy to about -12°C in the open; best pl anted as an understorey shrublet beneath trees and shrubs, where it will thrive and form a ground cover. As well as providing ground cover, it produces very nice edible red berries which can also be used for dyeing. Show more
