The Spineguard P1 is a protective, MagSafe-compatible case for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 5, and in a separate mould for the Apple iPhone Duo, cut to Apple's published dimensions. iPhone Duo orders ship once we have confirmed the fit on a retail unit (expected from late October). It guards the part of a foldable phone most likely to fail first — the central hinge — and adds drop and scratch protection, a magnetic ring, a built-in cover-screen protector, and metal camera rings in one slim case. Updated September 2026. 360-degree hinge protection that moves with your phone A foldable's hinge is its weakest point: dust, lint and pocket grit work into the gear mechanism and can lead to long-term screen or hinge failure. The Spineguard P1 uses a spring-loaded spine cover that slides open and closed as you fold, sealing the hinge against debris and impact in every position — open, closed, or anywhere between. MagSafe-compatible ring and 360-degree kickstand A built-in N52 magnetic ring snaps onto MagSafe-compatible chargers, car mounts and wallets, with precise alignment for fast wireless charging. The same ring doubles as a 360-degree rotating kickstand, so this is a Z Fold case with a kickstand and wireless charging support built in — ideal for hands-free video calls, recipes, and watching on the go. Built-in cover-screen and camera protection A 9H tempered-glass protector for the cover display is built in, so there is no separate screen protector to buy or apply. Each rear camera lens sits behind its own CNC-machined metal ring that keeps the glass off flat surfaces and edges, adding everyday scratch protection. Slim polycarbonate build with thermal venting Moulded from high-impact polycarbonate for a strong strength-to-weight ratio, this slim protective case keeps a low profile with precise cutouts for every port and button. An internal honeycomb pattern helps dissipate heat during gaming and multitasking. An Apple iPhone Duo version, cut to Apple's published dimensions, is also offered and ships once we have confirmed the fit on a retail unit (expected from late October). Is it MagSafe-compatible? Yes — a spring-loaded spine cover shields the hinge and screen edge from dust and impact in every fold position. Do I still need a separate screen protector? No — a 9H tempered-glass protector for the cover screen is built in. Does the case have a kickstand? Yes — the magnetic ring rotates 360 degrees and works as a kickstand in portrait or landscape.
