This hinged shelf support locks in place when in the horizontal position. Lifting the shelf vertically allows shelf to fold down against wall when not in use. Brackets should be mo unted into wall studs or other solid surface. Not to be used with mollies or wall anchors. Shelves must be at least 3/4" thick or the provided screws will pierce the surface. If using thinner shelves, use shorter screws (purchased separately). 12" Projection.
