This alteration works incredibly well for women who are very small through the hips and thighs, compared to their waist. It also works very well for an athletic build. If you are unsure of whether or not to get this, feel free to email me at [email protected] to ask about the specific “hip” measurements compared to the waist. Generally, if your hips are 8” or larger than your corset waist measurement, you will be fine with our standard pattern. Once again, this is really best for ladies who have tried our corsets on in person, and KNOW that this is an alteration that they need! Expect to have slightly thicker inner seams, which will only add to the stiffness and structure of the corset.
