Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, & Venezuela. Complete 3 requirements ( You may have completed this at thinking day or a cultural event) 1. Learn about a country that speaks Spanish. What is the capital? What is their currency and flag? 2. Learn a Spanish dance, song, or game. 3. Dress up in a traditional costume from a Spanish country. Make a costume or accessory. 4. Make a recipe from a Spanish country. Some examples are: tres leches cake, dulce de leche cookies, or shaved ice drink. 5. Make a craft from a Spanish country. Some examples are: God’s eyes, llama puppet, yarn painting, or a necklace. 6. In most Spanish countries, shaped boxes filled with candies called “piñatas” are at birthday parties. Make or buy your own party and have a fiesta! There is also another special birthday party called a “quinceanera” – a girl’s 15th birthday party. Learn more about a quinceanera and what they do to make it special. 7.
