Holds approx. 1/2 gallon of sugar syrup. Very easy to add sugar syrup - just take off the clear plastic top and pour, no disruption of the hive necessary. Keep feeder inside of emp ty super placed above inner cover and add hive cover to this empty box - this provides weather protection and will prevent attracting other bees or wasps. Place above inner cover hole, bees will come up to feed. Inner plastic cap separates the bees from the sugar syrup, and they can come down to drink from the bottom with minimal risk of drowning. Textured inner plastic walkway for bees also prevents drowning. Show more
