This 26yo has tobacco leaf followed along with a bit of the skin of walnuts... definitely a good influence of wood in this bottling. Natural colour and at cask strength. A pure whisky as you can get, direct from barrel to bottle. The First Editions was set up by Andrew Laing of Hunter Laing and focuses on mostly older ages of single cask bottlings of whisky that he chooses. Hunter Laing was created when Douglas Laing split down the middle in 2013 and the two brothers Fred and Stewart went their separate ways although both stayed in the world of whisky.
