Our original holdfast model has been discontinued and replaced with the "Improved Roman Holdfast." These holdfasts are forged from 1045, medium carbon steel and are sized for a 3/4 " workbench hole. They work best in bench tops between 1-1/2” and 2-1/2” in thicknesses. Thicker bench tops may need to be counterbored for best results. Over all length is approximately 14".
