Homestead Star ePattern $14.95 (found in Mailly Women pattern book) Options Used Option 1 square in a square Option 4 half-square triangles Option 18 Canadian geese - creates the l ong thin star points This pattern was adapted from my great grandmother's quilt collection that she made in the 1800's; this is a quilt that would have been given to family as they got their first "Homestead" - Looks like an intricate pattern but when you use 3 of the Options, it goes together so easily. I have personally made over 8 of these quilts; this is an easy quilt and I like to see it in different fabrics. Show more
