Homeward tells the story of Australia's majestic yellow-tailed black cockatoo, which mates for life and can live to be 60 years old, even in the wild. They nest in old tree hollows , and are dedicated parents, spending their time training their young to survive in Australia's harsh wilderness. This young male is a first-time parent.
