Produced by a group of women farmers within the COMSA organization in Marcala, Honduras, “Manos de Mujer” was established in 2013 to help improve the living standards of female producers who own and operate their own farms. Alongside coffee cultivation, many have diversified their farms with fruit and vegetable gardens while also raising chickens, pigs, and cattle. This initiative reflects COMSA’s broader mission to promote sustainability, opportunity, and gender equality throughout the region.
