The Sauvignon Blanc is composed of 97.2% Sauvignon Blanc with small additions of Sauvignon Gris (1.2%), Semillon (1.2%), and Muscat (0.4%), sourced from a split of 52% Napa County and 48% Lake County fruit. Fermentation takes place at moderately cool temperatures of 60–65°F, with 90% of the wine fermented in stainless steel tanks and 10% in neutral oak tanks — a deliberate technique that builds mid-palate weight and texture without imparting oak flavor.Tasting NotesAroma: Jasmine and honeysuckle open the nose, followed by fresh peach and grapefruit rind. A subtle herbaceous undercurrent adds complexity without overwhelming the fruit.Taste: The entry is juicy and bright, led by passionfruit and ripe peach. At mid-palate, lemongrass and kiwi emerge alongside mango, while a squeeze of fresh grapefruit and lime keeps the profile taut. The partial neutral-oak fermentation adds a succulent, rounded mouthfeel that distinguishes this from leaner, all-stainless expressions.Finish: Medium in length with lingering citrus zest and a clean mineral edge. The acidity carries through cleanly, leaving a refreshing impression that invites the next sip.How to Drink Honig Sauvignon BlancServe well chilled, between 45–50°F, in a standard white wine glass to concentrate the aromatics. This wine is best enjoyed on its own or as a versatile partner in wine-forward drinks. A White Wine Spritzer showcases its natural effervescence and citrus character. A Hugo Spritz — with elderflower liqueur, prosecco, and fresh mint — plays off the wine's jasmine and herbaceous qualities. For a simple warm-weather pour, use it as the base in a Wine Cooler with fresh peach slices and sparkling water to amplify its tropical profile.Best For Hosting a summer dinner party with seafood or salads Gifting a wine lover who appreciates Napa Valley whites Stocking a house wine that over-delivers on quality Pairing with lighter fare at a weekend brunch Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does Honig Sauvignon Blanc taste like?
