Course Description+ English 4 Honors is an advanced course that will study the masterworks of British literature from the Anglo-Saxon period to contemporary era. This course also includes intensive work on composition, including literary analysis and criticism and other expository forms. The required research paper assignment provides practice in research methods and documentation, MLA compliance, self-expression, and organization skills.Honors level classes can expect more rigorous requirements for assignments and assessments.Prerequisite: Successful completion of previous grade level Honors English with a “B+” or higherThis 6-week course is offered for first time credit, for credit grade replacement, or for non-credit enrichment in preparation for taking the course in the future. Students must be age appropriate for the course, and all students must adhere to proper online etiquette. For online courses, young children must be supervised by a parent at all times.
