April 2025 Sterling Silver The honu, or Hawaiian green sea turtle, is one of the most iconic animal symbols associated with Hawai’i. Considered an ‘aumākua, or spiritual guardian o f the Hawaiian people, they are symbols of longevity, protection, luck and wisdom. The style of the optional popcorn chain echoes the look of traditional Hawaiian olonā fiber cordage, and the slightly satin finish on the leioglyph gives it a glow not unlike that of beach glass.
