On Dec 17th 1984, the newly minted Hooligan’s Drinkery served its first beverage. Side Note: the now world famous AMF didn’t come along until 1987. Hooligan’s expanded into the upstairs portion of The Daily Grind Coffehouse and dubbed it Hooligan’s Upstairs Pub. The downstairs Hooligan’s was the “party” part of the bar that most folks remember so fondly (dance floor/DJ etc) while the upstairs (The Pub) was much more the laid back, pool and darts, 'let's have a break from the chaos' area.
