The downlight takes a GX53 bulb up to 15W maximum. GX53 bulbs have a flat disc profile with two pins on the back that twist-lock into the fitting. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 7-10W LED GX53 bulb in 3000K warm white for hallway and kitchen use. Can it be used in bathrooms? No. The IP20 rating limits the Hoop to dry indoor locations only.
