The lower spring rate in turn gives a lighter lever action, reducing rider fatigue and keeping our legendary feel and modulation The X2 caliper utilizes hybrid style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert allowing for smoother movement and less maintenance, while still able to manage high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use Lever shape updated to provide a more ergonomic shape orientated to provide the best mechanical advantage during braking Master cylinder includes reach and bite point control adjustability (BPC) and the piston is actuated by a cam and roller system to eliminate free play and friction Split clamp is designed to reduce clutter and create more space for handlebar mounted devices (directly compatible with Shimano ISpec shifters) One piece 2piston caliper is CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminum alloy Includes: lever assembly, prebled (black) hose with stainless fittings, (74mm) caliper Black plastic hose comes standard.
