The Hoplite Roller Hockey Puck is an indoor puck that was created over the course of 5 years by Doug and Derek at Hoplite. The idea struck watching traditional roller hockey pucks bounce over blades, rolling on edge and knowing it could be improved. The result is a puck that lays flatter, bounces less and thus easier to control than other pucks. The internal gyroscope spins like a fidget spinner when the puck is moving to stabilize it during passes (even during a saucer pass). Made from a new Polyethylene alloy with a larger surface area. Glides well on sport court and resists wear and tear better than rubber or plastic. Weighs 103 grams for a solid stick feel and optimal glide. Hoplite Puck Evolution on Vimeo.
