Seconds pieces happen as part of the living glaze production process. During the kiln firing of the piece slight variations in glaze colours, or imperfections such as spots or it d oes not sit within our exacting design standards. It does not however detract from its uneven colour can occur. This is purely a cosmetic blemish, which means beauty and could be considered extra special!
