The 20-W UV lamp emits shortwave, germicidal ‘C’-type wavelengths to attack and break down microorganisms that impede HVAC system efficiency. The Hornet installs on the exterior of the HVAC plenum, and its lamp projects into the airstream, minimizing allergens and airborne-transmitted diseases.
