Naturally adapted for life in sandy riverbeds, this species spends much of its time partially buried in soft substrate, emerging to forage for food. Peaceful and non-aggressive, Horseface Loaches are best suited to calm community aquariums with fine sand, gentle flow, and plenty of space to explore. Their unusual appearance and natural behaviour make them a standout addition to any aquarium.
