Meticulously handmade in Japan by our good friends at Accurate Form, our Horween Shell Cordovan watch straps have been crafted painstakingly to pair perfectly with any vintage watch. Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan® is the art of tanning at its finest, manufactured in one of the oldest and most renowned tanneries in the United States of America, the Horween Leather Company. Made from a specific part of a horsehide, the irregular oval shaped shells go through an arduous process of tanning, stuffing, shaving and polishing, which takes at least six months. A deep aniline finish from hand-rubbed dyes and careful hand-polishing helps the shells to achieve a rich, glossy look and feel prized by fine craftsmen. Known for its high durability and quality, Horween Shell Cordovan is a very comfortable leather to wear. With wear and care, the watch strap will develop from a deep luster to a profound shine over time. This strap comes complete with a Classic 1950s Buckle for an uncompromised vintage aesthetic.
