Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan® is the art of tanning at its finest, manufactured in one of the oldest and most renowned tanneries in the United States of America, the Horween Leather Company. Made from a specific part of a horsehide, the irregular oval shaped shells go through an arduous process of tanning, stuffing, shaving and polishing, which takes at least six months. A deep aniline finish from hand-rubbed dyes and careful hand-polishing helps the shells to achieve a rich, glossy look and feel prized by fine craftsmen. Known for its high durability and quality, Horween Shell Cordovan is a very comfortable leather to wear. With wear and care, the watch strap will develop from a deep luster to a profound shine over time. This strap comes complete with a Classic 1950s Buckle for an uncompromised vintage aesthetic.
