Located on top of the fuel filter. This is one of the two fuel lines on the OM647 filter that receive the most wear and tear. Every time the fuel filter is changed, this hose is re moved from the filer and re-clamped. It is very common for this hose to crack and deform, causing a leak and a puddle of diesel fuel on top of the fuel filter. Om647 ONLY Genuine Mercedes * This hose does not have the exact same part number as the one it is replacing. The hose with the same part number is NLA (No Longer Available) but Joel has found that this Genuine Mercedes fuel hose also works very well in this location. Unlike some of the "other guys" that sell a fuel hose that needs to be twisted like a pretzel, this one fits almost as perfectly as the original. When more you force a hose to bend and twist into a location it is not designed for, it wears out much faster than it should, creating a situation that needs to be fixed sooner than it should. Also, by using this hose instead of just a piece of 3/8" fuel line, you keep the factory look and longevity. Show more
