This hard to find 1991 Handy Hatfield introduction of a Herb Benedict hybrid (H. 'Dorothy Benedict' x H. montana) makes a nice 3' clump of heavily pebbled alligator-textured leaves of blue-green with a wide creamy edge. This distinctive clump of wide but sharply tapered leaves is topped in midsummer with medium lavender flowers. Show more
