Avocado Hosta is a shade-loving herbaceous perennial primarily grown for their broad colorful foliage. The large, curling basal leaves are rich green with bright chartreuse yellow centers. The fragrant bell-like white flowers raise up in terminals from the rootstalk above the mound in mid-summer attracting butterflies. Best color in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.
