I first saw this amazing sport of Hosta 'Solar Flare' in Don Dean's Minnesota garden in 2006, so we are delighted to finally be able to share it with other gardeners. Like its pare nt, Hosta 'Eclipse' forms a giant, upright, vase-shaped, 62" wide clump of blue-green wavy foliage surrounded by a wide golden margin that brightens as the season progresses. In midsummer the clumps are topped with 3' flower spikes adorned with near white flowers...quite extraordinary! Show more
