Hosta 'Golden Pixie' is a 2023 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of our 2007 hybrid, created in search of vigorous dwarf hostas. This complex hybrid involving Hosta venusta, Hosta ' Gemstone', and Hosta 'Cheatin' Heart' is an improved version of the old standard, Hosta 'Feather Boa'. Hosta 'Golden Pixie' makes a dwarf 3" tall patch of wavy-leaf rosettes of gold foliage that slowly expands outward, eventually to 18" in width. The clumps are topped with short spikes of lavender flowers for us in mid-June. Show more
