Unique shapes play a huge part in jazzing up shade gardens. This hosta is sure to draw the eye with incredibly thin, wavy, crinkled leaves that erupt from the center of the plant. Hosta 'Silly String' starts out a fresh blue in spring and then matures to an attractive blue-green as the season progresses. Hosta 'Silly String' Plantain Lily sports lavender blooms in summer that attract butterflies and other pollinators. While hostas can be drought-tolerant, they thrive in moist, fertile soil. They can be grown in clay soil and under black walnut trees. Show more
