In Hostage Negotiator, you step into the role of a law enforcement agent responsible for negotiating the release of hostages held by an unscrupulous figure determined to have their demands met. Each turn represents a tense conversation between you and the Hostage Taker. You'll play cards and roll dice to gain Conversation Points, lower the Threat level, and work toward releasing hostages. Hostage Negotiator features a unique "Hand-Building" mechanic, where the cards you purchase go directly into your hand for the next turn, rather than waiting for them to show up as in traditional deck-building games. There are multiple paths to victory: will you try to calm the Hostage Taker and persuade them to surrender, or will you stall for time and prepare for a Major Extraction?
