Hot 2 is made from a single 3 cm marble block, cut into a triangle with a central opening. With smooth, rounded edges the Hot object has a tactile design for everyday serenity. On a countertop, it becomes a sculptural object, while multiples can be combined into larger clusters. Heat-resistant and available in varied marble colours. In collaboration with marbledworks, AAS transforms leftover marble fragments into a distinctive trivet. “Hot" explores modularity and composition. It works alone or in combination, forming adaptable arrangements. As part of Gonzalez Haase’s Spatial Objects series, it turns everyday material into an architectural element. Show more
