This card is hand-set in 3 0pt Kaufmann Bold, designed in 1936 by Max R. Kaufmann for the American Type Founders (ATF), and paired with a not-so-subtle printing block. Each card is printed by hand, one impression at a time, and some variation in the final print is a normal part of the letterpress process. Printed on Flurry cotton scored stock from Boxcar Press, the paper has a soft, substantial feel that beautifully holds the impression of the type.
