Burton Hotel Primo One
Electronic Hotel & Guest Safe | £1,000 Cash / £10,000 Valuables | 8L or 26L The Burton Hotel Primo One is a compact and economical electronic safe designed to provide convenient se cure storage for guests' everyday valuables. Ideal for hotels, guest houses, Airbnb properties, serviced accommodation, student residences and guest rooms, the Primo One combines straightforward guest operation with the management features required by accommodation providers. Guests simply choose their own 4-digit PIN code, allowing valuables such as passports, cash, watches, jewellery, phones and other personal possessions to be stored securely and discreetly while they are away from the room. Available in two sizes, including a larger 26-litre model suitable for more substantial personal belongings, the Hotel Primo One provides a practical and cost-effective solution for anything from a single guest room to larger multi-room installations. Simple 4-Digit Guest Operation The Hotel Primo One has been designed to be straightforward for guests to use without complicated instructions. Guests select their own 4-digit PIN code when locking the safe. When the safe is opened, the code can be changed for the next use, making the system particularly suitable for accommodation where different guests use the safe throughout the year. Clear display messages, audible bleeps and LED indicators help confirm operation. This simple approach makes the Primo One an excellent choice for hotels and other accommodation providers looking for an easy-to-use guest safe with minimal staff involvement. Emergency Management Access Lost or forgotten guest codes don't have to result in a locked safe. The Hotel Primo One incorporates emergency override access, providing management with a way of opening the safe when a guest has forgotten their code or another access problem occurs. A Manager Code can be programmed for emergency opening, and an emergency override key is also provided. This provides valuable reassurance for accommodation operators while allowing guests to use their own private PIN during their stay. The emergency override key should always be stored securely by management and never kept inside the safe. Optional Audit & Emergency Opening Tool For hotels and larger accommodation providers, an optional Hotel Primo Audit and Programming Unit is available separately. The handheld unit can provide additional management and emergency functionality, including access to an audit of the last 100 operations. This can provide useful information about guest, manager and emergency access to the safe and can be particularly valuable when investigating a missing-item query or resolving a dispute. The unit also provides emergency opening and power functionality. For operators installing Hotel Primo One safes across multiple rooms, we particularly recommend considering the Audit and Programming Unit as part of the installation. Two Practical Sizes The Hotel Primo One is available in two sizes, allowing accommodation providers to select the capacity best suited to their rooms and guests. The compact 8-litre model is ideal where space is limited. Its small footprint makes it particularly suitable for installation inside wardrobes, cupboards and other furniture while still providing useful secure storage for items such as passports, phones, travel documents and cash. At just 5kg, it is compact and easy to position while retaining both back and base fixing options. The larger model provides a much more generous 26 litres of internal storage. With an internal width of approximately 416mm, it provides significantly more space for guests with larger personal possessions and is an excellent choice where room dimensions allow a larger safe to be installed. At approximately 10kg, it remains relatively lightweight and easy to incorporate into hotel or guest-room furniture. Recommended £1,000 Cash / £10,000 Valuables Rating Burton recommends the Hotel Primo One for contents up to approximately: £1,000 Cash or £10,000 Jewellery / Valuables This makes it well suited to the everyday possessions typically stored by guests while travelling. The Hotel Primo One should, however, be regarded as a guest convenience safe rather than a certified insurance safe. Customers requiring independently certified burglary resistance should consider one of SafeFort's EN 14450 or EN 1143-1 certified security safes instead. Battery Powered Electronic Lock The electronic lock is powered by 4 × AA batteries, which are supplied with the safe. The lock provides an indication of battery condition, allowing batteries to be replaced before power becomes insufficient for normal operation. Because the safe is battery powered, no mains electrical connection is required. This makes installation considerably easier when fitting safes into existing hotel rooms, wardrobes or furniture. Penalty Lockout Protection Repeated incorrect code attempts activate a penalty lockout period, helping to deter repeated attempts to guess a guest's PIN. This provides a useful additional security feature while retaining the simple four-digit operation expected from a hotel-room safe. Back & Base Fixing Both Hotel Primo One models incorporate back and base fixing provision. Secure fixing is particularly important with a compact hotel safe. Although the safe protects the contents from casual unauthorised access, it should also be firmly anchored so that the complete safe cannot simply be removed from the room. Where installed inside furniture, the suitability and strength of the fixing surface should therefore be considered carefully. Ideal for Hotels, Airbnb & Guest Accommodation The Hotel Primo One is particularly suitable for: Hotels Boutique hotels Guest houses B&B accommodation Airbnb and holiday lets Serviced apartments Student accommodation Halls of residence Guest bedrooms Its combination of simple guest operation, management override capability and competitive pricing makes it particularly attractive where multiple safes are required across a property. SafeFort Recommendation The Burton Hotel Primo One is an excellent choice for accommodation providers looking for a straightforward, reliable and cost-effective guest safe. Its greatest strength is its simplicity. Guests can choose their own four-digit PIN, secure their valuables and retrieve them without needing assistance from hotel staff. For management, the combination of a Manager Code, emergency override key and optional Audit and Programming Unit provides the additional control needed to manage guest safes effectively. For hotels or accommodation providers purchasing safes for multiple rooms, we would also recommend adding the optional Hotel Primo Audit and Programming Unit. Its ability to review the last 100 operations can be particularly useful when investigating access history or resolving a guest query. It is important to recognise that the Hotel Primo One is designed as an economical guest-room safe rather than an independently certified burglary-resistant safe. For applications requiring recognised insurance certification, SafeFort recommends selecting an appropriate EN 14450 or EN 1143-1 certified model. For its intended purpose, however, the Hotel Primo One provides an excellent balance of guest convenience, management control and value for money. The £1,000 cash and £10,000 valuables figures are manufacturer recommended ratings and should not be interpreted as independent burglary certification or guaranteed insurance cover. Where specific insurance protection is required, please confirm the appropriate safe standard with your insurer.
