House-shaped curio cabinet for tiny treasures Inspired by letterpress case drawers, I wanted to make something that would feel like those dear old objects without being constrained by their drawer-ness. Something to hold all your tiny treasures and beach finds, without actually taking any drawers for type out of commission. I made the little house and was pleased with it but was moved to find that when I filled it, it become a little portrait of the owner, a little jumbled timeline of life, as though I had shaken out my own pockets for several decades and collected the contents in this visual diary. What would you put in it?
