The Hoya benguetensis features delicate, slender leaves that measure up to 17cm x 5cm. These leaves undergo a transformation, turning into a deep crimson colour when exposed to abu ndant sunshine. The veins on the leaves add to their overall beauty. The blooms of this Hoya variety are star-shaped and slightly curved. They come in shades of red and orange, with a dark red corona. The flowers start flat before gradually assuming a reflexed position. Each flower has a diameter of approximately 20mm and clusters of up to 20 blossoms can be found. Although they only last for a short period, their presence leaves a lasting impression. The fragrance emitted by the flowers is unique and somewhat sour. To thrive, the Hoya benguetensis benefits from a gentle support as it cannot twine independently.
