Strong, sweet fragrance which can fill an entire room! A twining, rapid-growing hoya with green, thick, shiny, flecked leaves measuring 11cm x 6cm. New growth may be red but become s green with maturity. Blooms: Star-shaped baby pink flowers, up to 20mm in diameter, with plum-centred pink corona. Up to 25 flowers per umbel. Nectar producing. Strong, sweet-smelling fragrance. Flowers last up to 7 days. Sun exposure: Flowers well in lots of bright, indirect light. Water requirement: Water thoroughly and allow to almost dry out in between. Prefers well-drained, open mix. Water less in winter. Maintenance: Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period. Special note: Collector’s Number 12. WAOL permitted. There are a great many varieties of Hoya carnosa. Cold hoya: best suited to temperatures between 10-25C. Thought of as a cornerstone to every hoya collection. Each living plant is unique and may vary in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available. Plants are sent bare-rooted. Show more
