Description Hoya quinquenervia is a climbing or trailing epiphytic plant native to Southeast Asia. Its name means “five-nerved,” referring to the distinct veins visible on each leaf. Leaves: Thick, leathery, oval to elliptic leaves with prominent veining (usually 5 main veins). Leaves are medium green and can develop a slight sheen in good light. Growth habit: Vining and moderately fast-growing when happy. Can trail from a pot or climb a trellis. Flowers: Produces clusters (umbels) of small, star-shaped flowers.
