Hoya 'Rosita' is a striking trailing Hoya prized for its narrow, slightly pointed leaves and beautiful colour. The foliage emerges deep green with darker margins, developing rich bronze, red and burgundy tones when grown in brighter light. A cultivated hybrid between Hoya wayetii and Hoya tsangii, 'Rosita' combines attractive foliage with an easy-going trailing habit. Its long stems look particularly good cascading from a shelf or hanging planter, but can also be trained around a support as the plant matures. Mature plants can produce rounded clusters of small, waxy, star-shaped flowers in deep reddish tones. The blooms are fragrant and may also produce small droplets of nectar. Care Guide: Place in bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning or evening sun can help bring out the characteristic reddish colouring in the foliage, but avoid prolonged harsh midday sun. Water thoroughly once the compost has partially dried, allowing excess water to drain freely, and avoid leaving the roots sitting in water. Feed regularly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser. Plant Details: Nursery Pot Size: 9cm Fits Decorative Pot Size: 11cm
