In terms of physical attributes, the species thrives in warmer temperatures and exhibits signs of distress when exposed to temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Although it can tolerate low humidity, growth is accelerated in high humidity conditions. While the plant's veins and color contrast become less pronounced in low light, it does not impede the plant's overall quality. On the other hand, bright environments cause the veins to stand out more prominently, with leaf colors ranging from red to dark purple. The plant's striking red vein on the back further contributes to its sophisticated appearance. The main difference between this one and Hoya sp. Sumatra (Wavy leaves) is the foliage on this species grow long and skinny.
