The species is adapted to form domatia, specialized structures in its leaves that provide a habitat for ants, a unique feature seen in only a few Hoya species like Hoya mitrata and Hoya darwinii. Description: Leaves: The leaves of Hoya undulata are rigid, lance-shaped, and can vary in color from olive green to deep burgundy depending on light exposure. They are characterized by their wavy margins and can also exhibit pink variegation. Flowers: The corona of Hoya undulata is unique among Bornean Hoya species, with its lobes developing two lateral hooked appendages. Care Instructions: Light: Prefers bright, indirect light.
