SIZES (M) LHead circumference: 54 (56) 58 cm / 21.25 (22) 22.75 inches (person) MEASUREMENTSMeasured before washing: Height 40 cm / 15.75 inches (including the brim)Measured after washing: height approx. 14 - 16 cm / 5.5 - 6.25 inches (without the brim) PATTERN INFORMATIONMake a REAL hat that is firm like a felt hat. The hat is worked in one piece, from the brim to the top. The hat is extra large after knitting because it will take a trip through the washing machine to be felted, a process that causes the knitting to shrink and become as dense as a thick piece of felt. Choose from the many lovely colors available in Friends Wool, and feel free to decorate it with ribbons, a bow, or a sea of flowers. Please note: This pattern is bought as a downloadable PDF. It’s not sent as a physical product.
