First, th e cowl is worked from the top down in the round. Then, the back flap is worked flat. Finally, the front flap is worked flat. The front and back feature a slipped stitch rib pattern. The right and left sides of the tube part of the cowl feature a single slipped stitch cable bordered by single rib pattern repeats.
