The HP 2650 is a layer two, managed switch. The HP J4899B supports a switching capacity of 13.6 Gbps, has 8MB of flash-ram, and 32 MB of SDRAM. The J4899B can support up to 8,000 MAC addresses. The HP J4899B can support network VLANs for network segmentation. The switch has activity lights that alert users to the status of each physical port on the switch.
