Three-Conductor Architecture The HS-X3 uses three individually insulated 1.5 mm conductors, each optimised for current distribution and mechanical behaviour. Rather than increasing conductor mass without purpose, our design reflects proven practice from aerospace and military power distribution systems, where conductor arrangement and consistency are more important than size alone. Three conductors in controlled geometry provide: Balanced current paths Reduced susceptibility to uneven internal interaction Lower mechanical stress per conductor Better high-frequency behaviour than a single bulk conductor Each conductor is formed from high-purity OCC copper, chosen for its consistent internal structure and reliable long-term performance. Controlled Geometry and Braided Shielding The HS-X3 conduction cores are held in a defined spatial geometry and surrounded by a braided shielding layer. The braid manages electromagnetic interference not by brute force, but by preserving flexibility and maintaining material integrity over time. This approach ensures effective shielding behaviour through movement and installation, reducing both external interference and internally generated noise from coupling back into the conductors. Unified Outer Structure The three conductors and shielding are encapsulated within a unified outer sleeve, forming a mechanically stable assembly rather than a loose bundle. This suppresses micro-movement between conductors under load, which in turn lowers the potential for modulation-related noise. Radial Compression Retention System (RCRS™) The HS-X3 employs the same radial compression retention system as the rest of the series. A precision elastomeric interface expands uniformly into both the cable and the connector body via a calibrated retaining ring. Structured Cable Architecture Rather than behaving as one uninterrupted length, the HS-X3 has a defined structural point at the FFT module.
