This 40mm wide leather belt is produced by us at our studio on the west coast of Ireland, using the finest buttery soft Italian leather. Featuring a brushed stainless steel buckle and leather keeper, this belt uses a smoked effect, hand-finished bullhide leather from an artisinal Tannery in Northern Italy. It is a special piece. We only use Grade A European cowhide shoulder for all of our belt production. Vegetable Tan LeatherThis product is handcrafted from premium Vegetable Tanned Italian leather from the Tuscan region. Vegetable tanning of leather goes back thousands of years and uses a natural process. Italy is one of the few countries in the world who still possess the skills to produce the finest vegetable tanned leathers. We use some of the last remaining tanneries still using this traditional and in our opinion best method of tanning in Tuscany, Italy. Variations in colour tones and texture will be experienced from hide to hide and tooling marks may be visible on the product you receive. This is testament to the handmade nature of the product and the natural properties of the materials used. We like this. Wrapped and presented in our cotton dust bag. Perfect for gifting.
