This flush mount dates to the 1930s, the height of the Depression Era, when even everyday lighting carried the molded leaf-and-scroll borders and concentric ring detailing of Art Deco design. The porcelain body is original, the floral decoration still vivid, and the fixture has been fitted with a new pull-chain socket and wiring so it is ready to install and use.
