Hubs are an excellent tool for developing raw pinch grip strength. We’ve manufactured them in three heights so you can target different ranges of motion and progressively build thumb and fingertip strength. Based on the iconic York 45lb plates, hubs are lifted by gripping the central “hub” using only your fingers and thumbs, a brutally honest test of pinch strength where even 10kg feels heavy and elite lifters exceed 40kg. Our wide base design and consistent lifting surfaces give a clean, reliable feel, with lower hubs providing a much harder lift. As with all of our grip tools, each hub is designed, manufactured and tested in the UK by our team to ensure durability and performance. Simply attach your chosen hub to a loading pin with a carabiner, add weight plates, and start lifting using reps, holds or max attempts.
